Day 118 - Finishing the Roof

Week 24 - Day 118
End of another week and the roof is almost complete. The ridge tiles have been set in place and looking great.

  1. It's been months since you talked about this project, and now looks like the work will be over soon. What's next after the roof? I would love to see the chapel interiors, as well as the outcome after the restoration. Good luck on the work progress! Noreen @ TownAndCountryRoofingWA.com

    1. 4th Sept sees us in Week 30 of our capital works program. Work will not be complete until end of October. The daily posts will continue to show you all the works inside and out. And another couple of posts about the organ to come.
      Do you know there is also a Facebook page for Friends of George Street? Blog and FB will continue to inform about events and activities that will be held at the chapel once works are complete and the building in operation by Age UK Oldham. Glad you like the wrk doe so far.
