Day 227 - Recruiting New FOGS

Week 46 - Day 227
Maggie Hurley, Community Development Officer for Age UK Oldham started recruitment for new FOGS today with a photo for the local press on the front steps of the chapel. Also there was Roy Lees who has been undertaking local research into the chapel and its cellar dwelling tenants.

Day 226 - Two Manuals and a Wind Chest

Week 46 - Day 226
Both manuals were put in place today and the wind chest and supports for the pipes.

Day 225 - Testing Trams

The new trams started to be tested this week.

Day 224 - Rebuilding the Pipe Organ

Having brought all the parts of the organ back to Oldham from Huddersfield the instrument starts to get rebuilt.

Finishing off bits and bobs, completing fitting of lighting cellars etc
